    ....and I'm guilty too.

Yes it is, 2nd degree harassment, at best, not inciting violence.

I'm comparing his words to the content of rape-porn websites which are considered 'free speech' and so far his blog looks pretty tame.

Again, demonstrate, actually demonstrate how his blog brakes a law. Simply saying "the statement is proof" is not providing proof. Show a smiler case or two and how they were dealt with, quote some statutes, anything.

Show how his blog is anything more than venting off steam.

Good to know. They were still a driving force in the slave market for a long time.

As was Europe. The market was primarily in the Americas though. What became the USA, Brazil, and the Caribbean were the biggest markets.

The Slave Trade Act of 1807 only banned the slave trade itself.

Slavery remained legal throughout the British Empire until 1833 and the Slavery Abolition Act.

As an interesting historical footnote, the United States banned the importation of slaves the same year.

And these were shortly after France revived the slave trade under Napoleon, only to finally abolish it in 1848, I believe.

Of course with a particular crowd, we abolish slavery 13 years later so we're the big bad guys who bought and beat and killed every slave that came out of Africa.

Every slave out of Africa is on us, but the bonus is we get to forget/ignore the slaves from countries like Ireland that existed.

So it was effectively illegal in Great Britain yet it was legal in the colonies. That is why I'm saying it is America that was market.

How so if we banned the import the same year?

Africa always has and always will be the driving force behind African slave trade. You can't really expect more from a continent of savages who believe stupid crap like raping virgins will cure AIDS.
