I'm all for him going out on the town we all need stress releif but he could have caught a meal and show in DC.[/QUOTE]

And I can catch fish in Lake Michigan, a stones throw away. Yet, I go to Florida instead. Wonder why that is?

LOL.... Sorry Captain. The last part of my post was an error. The part about him going out of town instead of catching a show in DC actually should be a quote from Scorpion89. Sorry for the error.

    Nonsense:

President-elect Barack Obama doesn't think much of big-business executives' ability to related to the common man -- and says bank executives should forgo their bonuses this year as an example of taking responsibility in tough times.

He told Walters executives should make sacrifices because so many other people are struggling.

"I think that if you are already worth tens of millions of dollars, and you are having to lay off workers ... the least you can do is say, 'I'm willing to make some sacrifice as well, because I recognize that there are people who are a lot less well off, who are going through some pretty tough times," Obama told ABC's Barbara Walters in interview excerpts released by the network.

Obama said the Big 3 automakers are a 'little tone deaf to what's happening in America right now' -- a problem that has become chronic.... "We're sort of focused on them. But I think it's been a problem for the captains of industry generally," Obama told Walters in the interview, to air Wednesday. "When people are pulling down hundred million dollar bonuses on Wall Street, and taking enormous risks with other people's money, that indicates a sense that you don't have any perspective on what's happening to ordinary Americans."

What great irony from our hypocrite in chief.

While it may seem extravagant to spend 10s of thousands of tax payers dollars for a night in the big apple let us not forget the Pizza for lunch party that may have cost up words of $20,000 to $40,000 for 20 or so Pizzas. Then the expense to fly to Vegas to raise money for Harry Reid and and disrupt traffic and add 10s of thousands of dollars more to the Metro Police costs and other peripheral expenses and we're just 5 months into the tax and I'll spend it running around having fun Obama do as I say fun fest.
By the way it costs serious money for Air Force One to just be sitting anywhere with a crew, staff and all the security required while the Pres. is doing his thang.
If he'd leave the plane sitting for two hours instead of playing big shot he could bail me out with the money he'd save.

yes, because we all know we should just sit in the office waiting for an attack to happen at any moment so we won't be caught reading a little goat book as it happens......

What a gratuitous insult to Muslims and wayward Cherubims everywhere.
