It's not the fact that morons are being their natural selfs. One has to expect that.

The point of outrage should be: Why did The Messiah appoint a moron to be AG?

I think there are folks who think every black person in America should be taught to embrace an itchy robe of victimhood from birth. It's frankly condescending.

I don't disagree, but this has nothing to do with the point I was making.

Yes, because scratchy is reserved for the Klan robes.

But of course I come in this thread, and it is full of nonsensical partisan sniping. "where are the liberals to defend this?" Why would I defend this? There are some partisan hacks on the democratic side, who will defend every action democrats take. Just like there are conservatives who still try to say George Bush was not a disastrous president, or that invading Iraq was a good idea, or any other number of things which the evidence says the exact opposite!! But for all people who are not partisan hacks, there is no reason to defend this!!

So why can't things be about right and wrong? Or in this case just or unjust? Instead everything is "ooh look what stupid thing this conservative did, aren't all republicans evil fascists?" Or the opposite "ooh look what stupid thing this liberal did, aren't all democrats evil communists?" I suppose that is just the way things go....
    Frod,

This is about right and wrong.
That is what Conservatives tend to look at; right & wrong, and what is the greatest good for the greatest number over the long haul. Not emotion.

The reason I kept bringing the thread up, and there were comments about lefty's not commenting is because they ignored the thread. We wanted to hear what some folks had to say from Obama's side.

    We have.

As for Bush, yes some believe he did the right things considering the circumstances, the hostility of our opponents and the facts from all the intel services around the world.

War isn't a game of perfect, far from it, and Saddam was left to fester far too long.

Though Conservatives didn't crap on Bush about Iraq, or turn on the troops, we surely did not appreciate his spending. We didn't like Amnesty. We were vocal, so vocal Amnesty was actually nuked. I don' think you can lecture Conservatives about not speaking up when we disagreed with Bush 43; we have.

Your party is the one that defends perjurers, and voted for wars out of political expediency, only to turn your backs on the troops when they needed our total support the most.

"Support the troops but not the mission"?
    Bulls**t.

Voter intimidation is WRONG WRONG WRONG regardless of who is doing it. These guys should have the book thrown at them and anyone associated with fools like that should be ashamed of themselves.

I'm not going to defend the black panthers on this at all because they should not have been at the polling place with a weapon. The outfits, free country.

As to intimidating voters... Do you think it was to turn away white voters?

I think the idea was for them to prevent the usual suspects from intimidating black voters. Their presence ensures that black folks don't have to fear going to the polls and being arrested or harassed.

These guys went too far and should be prosecuted. However, the justice department has a lot of important cases to deal with and apparently this was a civil suit. If they actually broke the law, not just as a perceived threat by some, then they should absolutely be prosecuted by the local court system. Why was this being pushed to the US justice department?

As an aside, hey paranoid guy who takes his gun to the polls, would you have brandished it or even used it on these guys if this was your polling place?
