As far as I can tell from reading on this, they should be. I would say that based on my knowledge so far, Attorney General Holder screwed up badly on this. If the facts are as they seem, it is time for him to be removed.Originally Posted by Laila

Why aren't they in jail? Is threatening and imtimidation now acceptable?[/QUOTE] The simplest explanation is that they don't get the bad press that other extremist groups do, so political pressure is not applied to the extent that action is considered necessary from most of our politicians and law enforcement, the other side of the coin is that with the lack of appropriate coverage and political outrage, it would be suicidal to do so from a political standpoint because of the political correctness standpoint.
Neither side in an argument can find the truth when both make an absolute claim on it.
Here is a clip from The Factor. O'Reily interviewing a civil rights lawyer concerning the Black Panthers intimidating people with weapons at a polling place and Eric Holder dropping the charges.

The problem with this, is it, like everything else political in this country, will become a partisan issue. This should never be a partisan issue. It should be about justice!! These morons should be in jail, and it is an embarrassment to this country that they are not.
But of course I come in this thread, and it is full of nonsensical partisan sniping. "where are the liberals to defend this?" Why would I defend this? There are some partisan hacks on the democratic side, who will defend every action democrats take. Just like there are conservatives who still try to say George Bush was not a disastrous president, or that invading Iraq was a good idea, or any other number of things which the evidence says the exact opposite!! But for all people who are not partisan hacks, there is no reason to defend this!!
So why can't things be about right and wrong? Or in this case just or unjust? Instead everything is "ooh look what stupid thing this conservative did, aren't all republicans evil fascists?" Or the opposite "ooh look what stupid thing this liberal did, aren't all democrats evil communists?" I suppose that is just the way things go....
