South Korean ex-president dies in apparent suicide

SKorean ex-president Roh dies in apparent suicide - Yahoo! News

SEOUL, South Korea – Former South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun, embroiled in a broadening corruption scandal, jumped to his death while hiking in the mountains behind his rural southern home, his lawyer said. He was 62.

Roh had been hiking in the village of Bongha on Saturday morning when he threw himself off a mountainside rock, lawyer Moon Jae-in told reporters. In a suicide note left for his family, Roh called life "difficult" and apologized for making "too many people suffer," a TV report said.

Roh was rushed to a hospital in the nearby port city of Busan around 8:15 a.m. (2315 GMT) and died around 9:30 a.m. (0030 GMT) from head injuries, officials at Busan National University hospital said.

It sucks that he died but why can't our politicians take a page from his book.
I was discovering that life just simply isn't fair and bask in the unsung glory of knowing that each obstacle overcome along the way only adds to the satisfaction in the end. Nothing great, after all, was ever accomplished by anyone sulking in his or her misery.

The faintest thought of that never entered my mind. Where in the world did you get that impression?

That seems like such a waste of gravity, and energy conservation is such a positive thing. I think MOST of our politicians should just go directly to hell.

Dude stop asking about what there is to debate. If you don't have anything to contribute then don't post (note: whining about the fact that there is nothing to debate in a given thread is not contributing).

Being dead at the bottom of a cliff is a lower energy state than being alive at the top.

Very good point in the case of politicians. I stand corrected on conservation of energy. We are both correct on the point,"of what is a good politican?"...
