I play MMO's. At the time of 9/11, I played an online game called Everquest. After I had to run from the coverage of the disaster, being totally unprepared for the sight of people jumping to their death to avoid the heat of the building and things of that nature, I logged into Everquest. There where people online in the game, who knew people who worked in the WTC, who knew people in New York, or who lived in New York, all doing largely what I was doing, getting away from the pain. I remember some of the things they where saying, and marveled at the pain and torment these people where feeling.

9/11 affected me deeply, and forever. I think that is true for almost every one, liberal or conservative, republican or democrat. I don't think we are in any danger of forgetting 9/11.
Some people seem to be less affected than others and some 20-somethings were too young to really understand the tragedy of nine years ago. And some just need reminding.

Not 24 times. Fear mongering, plain and simple.

We disagree. And half the country (without regard to Party affiliation) agrees with each point of view.

So when Obama mentions the economy many times that is fear mongering, but when Cheney, Bush, etc mention 9/11 24+ times in their speeches, that is just a friendly reminder?

Yes Newt and Dick make a great combo.

When I see Newt on TV the first thing that comes to mind even without hearing what he is saying is desperate liar and fearmonger who does not have one ioda of care for this nation as a WHOLE. He just concerned with his own parties self-serving interests. Kinda like lord Cheney.
Newt and lord Dick now really are the only ones who are able to come out and shoot off their mouths when their party has lost it's relevancy. As far as Newt goes they need somebody who was once speaker of the house, as big name, yet he was removed from that position because of ethics violations. So he really has no political future in office yet his name is big enough that he can come out give his delusionary interviews as does lord Dick. With no fear of future political repercusions.

That's why they can both come out and openly claim that Obama policies will lead to future attacks on the country. What do they have to lose? Their jobs?

They certainly will not talk about their failures and will openly hope for attacks on our country...sad and pathetic.

They have zero intentions of supporting anything Obama does no matter what.

I just hope that President Obama will be able to protect our country from terrorist attacks from Newt and Dick.

The 20somethings, maybe. The rest of us, I am not so sure.

Don't forget Steele. Every single day lately, he has opened his mouth and said something incredibly stupid. Today it was something about President Obama getting elected because he was black.
