In retrospect, I don't believe McCain would have been that bad of a choice.

4 more years of Bush? No thanks!

I voted 3rd party and felt good about my vote.

Do you really want to play this game? Do I really have to go and dig out endless examples of republicans spinning soundbites of democrats all out of meaning? Examples of conservatives spinning liberal soundbites out of shape? Hell, democrats spinning democrat and republican spinning republican soundbites? It is something politicians do, on all sides. I don't like it, you might not like it(you might since you have a predisposition towards insults over arguments), but it does happen, and to give those on the other side easy ammunition is politically stupid. It was stupid when then candidate Obama did it(clinging to our guns and bibles, though that one was stupid on multiple levels), it was stupid when Hillary Clinton did it, when McCain did it, when Huckabee did it...

I know it is hard, but try to look past your mindless insults and hyper-partisanship. You are not dumb, and can make some interesting points, it disappointing seeing you refusing to think past your own need to spin,

To reiterate: If this is how the Anti-Republicans spin soundbites, the Republicans can look forward to a very pleasant 2010 electoral season.

So far, the spin on this one has been weak, anemic, and distinctly amateurish. Which is surprising, actually, because the Anti-Republicans typically are better at the spin game than this.

Wait until there's a really outrageous bit of spin on something, then we can play the game.

Any measure of quality would have to be based on effect, which remains to be seen.

See, your OP is not but hyper-partisan BS, and everyone can see that, so don't be surprised when folks like myself show up and just start making fun.

Remember, we're not laughing with you, we're laughing at you. If you cry about it, it'll get worse. If you ignore it, it won't go away. If you have a sense of humor about it, and are able to make fun of yourself, you will get respect.

Better 4 more years of Bush than 4 more years of Carter.

Being a military man, I can honestly say no to that. At least Carter never got 5000 of my battle brothers killed for no good reason.

    No and No.

Wow, dealing with that asinine hyper partisan question was easy.

I disagree. Politically from a strategy stand point it was stupid. Yes, you have to be "all Pc about it" to be offended. However, many people simply ARE PC. Neither party wins JUST with their base, part of it is getting the middle and those on the other side to cross over. Some of those people are likely PC. If you could say the exact same thing with a slightly different word that would've been more politically intelligent.

its not "OMG He's an idiot!" type stupidity, but it wasn't an intelligent thing to say in the scope of political strategy. This is the case with both a Rep or Dem saying it, as BOTH sides have NO qualms spinning and distorting and over reacting to what the other side says.
