Netanyahu stands firm against demands from Obama

Netanyahu has to look out for his country's interests so he gets points. Obama should do the smart thing and tell the Israeli's and the Palestinians to figure out the whole issue themselves. As for Iran, the Israeli's have to do what they got to do and thats it. America needs to stop worrying about that hell hole that is the Middle East (after we finish Iraq), nothing we do is going to make it better. Let them fight, and go to war then God can sort them out.

It wasn't a failure of diplomacy, it was a failure of timing. With two past administrations supporting Israel's flouting of international law with the expansion of its Jewish settlements, it's kind of late for Obama to prance in and make calls for a two-state settlement. Furthermore, Israel has been refocusing on Iran as of Bush's reign, and that's not about to change. Palestine is gradually becoming a non-issue for Israel. It will simply be dismantled by Israel's expansion.

Palestine is a cause for concern but everyone should be much more concerned about Israel setting its sights on Iran.

 but any concern about Iran developing nuclear arms?

 thanks, but my question stands, as this topic has nothing to do with Bush. Thanks.

Then you need to click the link I gave you because I answered it in my reply. I was responding to another comment.

Again, learn to read comments beforehand, it might save you the embarrassment later.

I agree with others who think that obama is just now learning that he is not what his hype claimed.

It's funny you agree with others, when they haven't shown how Obama embarrassed America in Israel.

You have got to be kidding.

Its pretty commmon knowledge with people who are paying attention that the link has been made.
I proved my point with official language/comments from high ranking members of this administration..you simply said nu uh and made a snide comment.

BTW
Debunking does not equate your clearly baseless opinion.

You've proven nothing but spouted rhetoric. Nothing Obama did in Israel embarrassed America.

You have yet to list the examples of how Obama embarrassed America by going to Israel.

It's quite easily seen however, how Obama haters such as yourself (I would even go so far as to say Un-American) would just like to spit bile at the president.

How do you all rate Obama's meeting with netanyahu? Was it a success, and for whom?

I think netanyahu is right about Iran. It should be the focus with Obama, before talks of settlements, and a two state solution can be discussed.

What say you?

I think Obama did fine. Iran is conducting missle tests and I believe, have nuclear capabilities now, so of course Israel is going to be preoccupied. Obama needs to start talks with Iran now, and if he cannot get them on board for the two state solution, then he needs to take firm action against them.

Barry continues to sell Americas future to the lowest bidder, while Netanyahu looks to a more secure future for his country. Netanyahu 1...Barry Obama 0

Iran continues to be impossible,...thats a big IMPOSSIBLE for the likes of Barry Obama. So again Netanyahu wins. 2 ... ZIP.

I was asked to provide evidence of the Obama Administration linking of these two issues. I did.

Obama is such a little boy on the international stage. It would be best that we keep him home so as not to embarrass ourselves. I NEVER thought I would miss the Bush Years, but Jesus... Obama is sad. At this point, Obama just needs to focus on domestic problems. We elected two idiot children in a row. Good for us. Go Team America!

I would personally rather have my pubic hair set on fire than have W back as anything.

I think we should have talks with Iran and anybody else that wants them with no pre-conditions. That is arrogant and asinine to think that we should be allowed that. It is best to talk with those that are a thorn in your side. If they are ignored then they become a serious pain and cause a mountain of trouble.
