Does not matter what you categorise him as to be honest, what matters is his actions and views and those are quite close to those of Neo Nazis and other homophobic racist groups around the world.

I don't want to defend the guy, but there are probably some people in Britain who agree with the things he says.
Quite a few I suspect, but the difference is that they are UK citizens he is not. They have a right to be here, and he does not. Like it or not, the UK or any country can deny anyone for whatever reason they see fit.

I don't listen to Savage, and by some of his comments it sounds like he walks a tight line in regards to "hate speech" at times, but it seems like he also articulates some serious opinions, even if they are not nice ones. I think British people can handle those opinions.
Of course they can, but this is not about what the British people can handle or not. They can also handle the visit of a banned Hamas guy after all. This is sending a message that the UK does not accept or condone the acts of said people, and that includes Savage.

OOOOO I'm soooooooo scared pweez don huwt me
Talk about somebody missing the big picture.
Failing to learn the lessons of history.
Inviting a slide down a slippery slope.

And then providing a rebuttal suitable for Junior High.

    You're on;
Go ahead quote something as bad as the above from them.
    Your turn.
Rinse and repeat, same response as above.

No, it is your perspective is what's twisted.
    Free speech is twisted?
I encourage everyone to speak freely, and to reveal who they are.

You folks want and embrace Thought Polizei.

I especially implore Democrats to tell us who they really are and what they want to do, but they never seem to embrace this Right, or our need as educated voters to know.

Why did Obama run away from all his old buddies? Wright, Rezko, Johnston, Ayers... and why did they shove a sock in Michelle's yap and tie her up with Joe Biden and leave then at the back of the bus?

Prove Hilary isn't progressive, don't just repeat what you've heard from your favorite propagandists.
Whe "Progressive" means Hard Left Liberal, then she is "Progressive".

Why ask me? Go read an Ann Coulter book I'm sure you'll find your opinion in there somewheree.
I am asking you, what is it about Liberty you don't like?
I'm interested to hear the opinions of Leftists from their own keypads.

Where does it say open minded in the liberalism definition? Because I'm a liberal I'm supposed to tolerate hatred? that's just wrong.
You don't have to tolerate what you don't like, but government must tolerate the views of individuals so long as they do not incite or solicit violence. These cases are fairly clear cut, and in the US, the 1st Amendment was to protect speech that could be seen as unpalatable to some, even many, or the majority.

But you, and those like you throw this out on a whim.

    Speaking of censorship and killing opponents;

Vester: You say you'd rather not talk to liberals at all?
Coulter: I think a baseball bat is the most effective way these days.

"When contemplating college liberals, you really regret once again that John Walker is not getting the death penalty. We need to execute people like John Walker in order to physically intimidate liberals, by making them realize that they can be killed, too. Otherwise, they will turn out to be outright traitors."

My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times building.
New York Observer article; August 26, 2002

    Ann Coulter
    And?
She states John Walker should have been executed. I agree.

I knew one of you guys would slip up and call the MSM 'liberal media' someday.
Fineman is a Lib, and he is the one admitting the AMMP (MSM) has been in the tank with Libs for DECADES.

WASHINGTON - A political party is dying before our eyes and I don't mean the Democrats. I'm talking about the "mainstream media,"

The crusades of Vietnam and Watergate seemed like a good idea at the time, even a noble one, not only to the press but perhaps to a majority of Americans. The problem was that, once the AMMP declared its existence by taking sides, there was no going back. A party was born.

It was not accident that the birth coincided with an identity crisis in the Democratic Party. The ideological energy of the New Deal had faded; Vietnam and various social revolutions of the 60s were tearing it apart. Into the vacuum came the AMMP, which became the new forum for choosing Democratic candidates.
In defending him you support him.
I would also support a Lib; I support FREE SPEECH regardless of party affiliation. I may not agree with the POV, but I support FREE SPEECH.

Wrong, you are defending hate speech the same kind of talk that incites violence.
You seem to miss the point about FREE SPEECH, and this is where you and other like you are the dangerous ones.

I think Rev. Wright speaking freely gave us valuable insight into who Obama is. Who his wife is. Who people like AG "Coward" Holder is, why during the inauguration we get "when White will embrace what's right". "Clinging to guns and religion"... that is the valuable of free speech. And in Obama's case he tried to hide all this.

Free speech... allows people to be identified for what they believe.

    Prove Obama hates us.
Obama sat and inhaled the toxic poison Wright spewed. he named a book after one of his sermons. He said he was his mentor, adviser, pal... and could no sooner disown him than he could a member of his family.

Obama listened to a man that preached hate for 20-years.
A man that praised Louis Farrakhan.
He chose that church. He chose to listen to Wright spew his filth.

A preacher who comes out the weekend after 911, and 3000 dead in NY City and says "God Bless America?... No, no, no... God Damn America"... sorry... he's a man filled to the brim with hate... but has the right to profess it.

And from this we can judge the man, and his poisoned flock.

Michael Savage is possibly one of the nastiest, most unpleasant people on the air. But as far as I know, he's never incited violence. And banning people from a country for their views is a bad idea. What's to stop the government from doing this more and more, until the only views allowed are pro-government views?
I don't really see your point here. It is up to the natives to keep the gov't in line, we should be relying on foreigners anyway and it is our right to decide who we want to let in.

I don't have much time for these silly hare speech laws, if you incite violence then you can be arrested for that, if you harrass or defame someone then you can pay the penalties for that, there doesn't need to be a special racial category and racist speech that does not live up to those other offenses does not need to be banned no matter how distateful we may find it.
