Re: U.S. soldiers encouraged to spread message of their Christian faith in Afghanista

Lt. Col. Gary Hensley, the chief of the U.S. military chaplains in Afghanistan, was shown delivering a recorded sermon to other soldiers, saying: "The special forces guys Ğ they hunt men basically. We do the same things as Christians, we hunt people for Jesus. We do, we hunt them down."

He also told soldiers that as followers of Jesus Christ, they all have a responsibility "to be witnesses for him."

"Get the hound of heaven after them, so we get them into the kingdom. That's what we do, that's our business," Al Jazeeraís footage quoted him as saying....
What, exactly, do you expect a Chaplain to preach, other than the basic tenets of his faith?

Whilst they are soldiers, they are not allowed. Go become a missionary instead.
Leftist always come unhinged at the mere mention of Jesus.

    Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!

Wouldn't you think, probably not, but give it a try, that converting a few muslims to Christianity might just be a good thing?

Since when is Jesus Christ an insult?

When people try to force him on other people.

I first off do not think that you'll convert anyone in that particular region just yet. I secondly believe that is not the duty of the US Military. If you want to convert people to Christianity, send missionaries; but not through the military. The handing out of bibles and such, the people knew what they were doing and that it was against army regulation. Regardless of their beliefs, they are held to the constraints and edicts of the military.
You know the time is right to take control, we gotta take offense against the status quo

You asked a question I answered. I would find it equally insulting if someone wanted to force Allah on others. I'm fairly certain you can see how this is a two way street, or maybe not?

If the Afghanis did not want to hear the message, then why do they listen? After all, it is just a harmless little book they handed out.

Again, What "force?" What did they do? Hold them down and cram the bibles down their throats?

What force are you talking about? Or is this just another baseless leftist BS exaggeration?

They are not forcing anyone to do anything. I mean that is just a little over the top don't you think?

Jesus never called for conversion via the sword according to scripture, some humans did it anyway, but that was a very long time ago and not backed by scripture.
