Homeland secretary apologizes to veterans group

My Way News - Homeland secretary apologizes to veterans group
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano met with the American Legion on Friday to apologize for a right-wing extremism report written by her agency, and the veterans group walked away from the meeting mollified.

"She essentially admitted fault within her office," Roberts said.

After the meeting, Napolitano issued a statement saying the department "has fixed the internal process that allowed this document to be released before it was ready."
Translation: We believe what we wrote, and wanted it released, but now that there is political fallout (unexpected considering it comes from The Messiah's Own), we want you to believe that we actually don't believe what we wrote. Really.
"Has this Homeland Security secretary gone absolutely stark raving mad?" Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn, said Wednesday.
White House spokesman Nick Shapiro said... "She doesn't have time for these games - and neither does the president," ...
No... there is no need to defend or explain why she or The Messiah would write & release such a report to the world.

Nick Shapiro: Don't you know who we are and how busy we are.
You... slovenly taxpayer... hold thy yap and go back to your chores.

The veterans issue wasn't the only flap. Earlier this week, Napolitano drew criticism for flubbing an explanation of federal law prohibiting people without proper documents from crossing U.S. borders into the country.

In an interview with CNN, Napolitano, whose career has included stints as a U.S. attorney and attorney general and governor of Arizona, said: "Crossing the border is not a crime per se. It is civil."

Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., characterized Napolitano's statements as one of the most "baffling" he has ever heard from a senior government official.
I like this Napolitano; she seems like the perfect face for the administration on matters of national security... her name gives me cravings for ice cream too.

She also has drawn criticism for claiming in an interview that the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorists entered the U.S. across the Canadian border. The Sept. 11 commission found that none came through Canada. But others have, such as the would-be millennium bomber Ahmed Ressam.
Quite the tri-fecta don't you think?
Odds on this three pack is a pretty long shot.
It took great talent and cunning to bring them home... and in record time too!

Good thing the best and brightest are at work keeping our nation secure by giving insight to tactics used against terrorists, pin pointing our valiant warriors, securing the borders by playing down the crime at hand... the only thing that doesn't fit... is she isn't a tax cheat as far as I know.
