Former KKK leader detained in Prague

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA, nice for the Czechs to take this piece of human garbage off our hands.

WEAR ABC 3 :: International News

David Duke is going to get his in Satan's sex chamber.

I am more worried about the fact that one can face up to three years for having an opinion against the idea of the Holocaust.

Couldn't of happened to a more deserving fellow..... I am seriously torn between my desire to see him punished and my disgust over a mind control law. I mean, without a doubt this man was involved in murder. On the other hand, controlling what people think, even when their ideas are out right ludicrous, well......

He is a master jerk off but that doesn't give anyone the right to detain him for it.

Believe it or not, its a very common law in Europe.

Yep laws put in place by the victors. The Allies with the US and Russia at the front put these laws on the books in many of the countries in question, but not all of course.

The US doesn't have any laws against Holocaust denial. It would violate our Constitution.

Hope he rots in jail.

Holocaust denial laws are in place in quite a few European countries [for obvious reasons]

Yes it does.
He is not in US. There is no constitution protecting your rights in Europe. Besides, when you enter a country. You abide by the laws. If not, you suffer the consequences. No more than what would happen if someone broke the law in US.

...such as?

You cannot deny the Holocaust in Germany and other European countries and that is because it was the countries that it occured in, is is a scab that cannot be healed.
In US they are just idiots, in Europe - They could be dangerous.
You cannot deny a genocide when it occured a few hundred miles away

I have no sympathy for Duke. Hope he gets the full 3 years and after serving is shipped back to US.

Satan has a sex chamber?

There aren't any laws in America denying slavery, Native American genocide, or Japanese internment camps. Nor should there be.

If they're making threats or committing violent acts or plotting domestic acts of terrorism, then by all means lock them up. But just for having their opinions? Definitely not. People should be able to voice any opinion they want, no matter how retarded, as long as it doesn't directly harm anyone.

Saying the Holocaust didn't happen doesn't cause harm to anyone.

There is a entire generation who alot are still alive who lived and survived through the World war and Holocaust.

It seems terribly dangerous to us that someone pretends to revise history to serve their ideology.

Especially when this same ideology sympathizes with the actors of the holocaust and what they did.
I cannot understand why people do not see that.

I do not believe that hate speech should be covered by the freedom of speech.
There is no first amendment in Europe. We have never had and never will have the freedom to say whatever we want.

If you wish to deny the Holocaust, stay in US.
He came to Europe willingly. His stupidity.

That doesn't cut it. Hurt feelings should not be sufficient justification for denying someone freedom of speech.

What seems truly dangerous to me is allowing GOVERNMENTS to decide what is "real history" and what is "revised history," and punishing people for deviating from the history books. That's a lot more dangerous than anything morons like David Duke are capable of.

Well there's nothing inherently Nazi-sympathetic about Holocaust denial...it's just retarded. The fact that the vast majority of Holocaust deniers are Nazi sympathizers is irrelevant.

Well perhaps you should.

Well perhaps you should.

He is not a European citizen. He is an American. If you wish to have the right to say whatever you want, stay in US.

He broke the law, he is being convicted under that law. The laws doesn't suddenly exempt you if you come from a country where it is not a crime.

I'm happy right now thanks, i do not want a first amendment that protects anything and everything

Indeed.
US and the Allies forced all these laws on some of the European countries that were allied with Germany or occupied by them back at the end of WW2, to make them admit the holocaust happened

I am sure glad we don't have thought control and anti-1st amendment laws in the form of hate speech laws.

So what Duke is a racist piece of ****. Has the thought ever occurred to any of these morons advocating thought control and anti free speech laws that those same laws can be applied to other groups of people. What if the EU government not just made hurting the feelings ,homosexuals, jews and muslims against the law what if it applied it to christians, military, police, government and other groups? Through a process of incrementation this can happen, the public usually panics during the time of crises and gives up basic rights.

Sex/ intercourse has never really been said to existence in Heaven, so I'm guessing the Red-Man gets what the other dude doesn't want.

Only what YOU believe is right and truthful... right?

It's a very slippery slope, just ask Mark Steyn about the Kanuckistani's.

This is true for every country, not just Europe.

No.
I do not pick and choose.

Slippery slope but balance is everything and generally we are doing an all right job imo.
I support laws against hate speech.
