    Jesse Jackson offers to go to Iran to help free journalist

    To my understanding, Jackson has done this before so I kinda believe he is being sincere but I also think he is just craving for attention.

    Maybe Iran will just accept a trade.

    I actually have to say that is pretty admirable of him. I think most people would have to be off their rocker to want to go to Iran to help anyone there. Because if a judge in Iran can just accuse and sentence someone of spying and throw them in prison for several years I imagine those judges can do the same thing to anyone else no matter who they are. .Although knowing that this man is such a race parasite and media whore one has to wonder if there is a scam or ulterior motive for wanting to do this other than just from the kindness of his heart.
    "A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

    I did not know Jesse Jackson was successful in these international activities:

    Jesse Jackson - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
    In 1983, Jackson traveled to Syria to secure the release of a captured American pilot, Navy Lt. Robert Goodman who was being held by the Syrian government. Goodman had been shot down over Lebanon while on a mission to bomb Syrian positions in that country. After a dramatic personal appeal that Jackson made to Syrian President Hafez al-Assad, Goodman was released. Initially, the Reagan administration was skeptical about Jackson's trip to Syria. However, after Jackson secured Goodman's release, United States President Ronald Reagan welcomed both Jackson and Goodman to the White House on January 4, 1984[19]

    In June 1984, Jackson negotiated the release of twenty-two Americans being held in Cuba after an invitation by Cuban president Fidel Castro.[20]
    ===========

    In April 1999, during the Kosovo War, Jackson traveled to Belgrade to negotiate the release of three U.S. POWs captured on the Macedonian border while patrolling with a UN peacekeeping unit. He met with the then-Yugoslav president Slobodan Milošević, who later agreed to release the three men.[21]

    This surprised me. I hope Jackson is able to do the same with the Iranians.

    I don't think the 25 American P.O.Ws (22 in Cuba and 3 au Macedonia) will consider J.J. a broken record.

    Jesse is struggling with his insignificance since Obama arrived.

    But actually, I won't criticize anyone for attempting to do something like this, regardless of motive. I wish him well.
