Priest Charged In 'Spiritual Massage' Case

A priest has been charged with molesting a 14 year old boy. Of course, he doesn't think it is molestation. He thinks it is "spiritual massage".

You know, I am kind of cool with this concept. Once he is in prison, I hope that Bubba the Butt Bandit gives him daily "spiritual massages" for the rest of his life. :mrgreen:

Hmmm... was there some sort of violent force used by the priest? Drunk or not, @ 14 you have to know what's going on. More info is needed to make judgment calls IMHO.

The boy is still a minor, and subject to influence by those in positions of authority. This constitutes child abuse.

IMHO, very few 14 year old's would allow someone they did not want to touch them, in a way they did not want. Of course there those few cases where the 14 year old had mental issues, and went along with it for that reason.

And then there is the possibility that this 14 year old really wanted to get down with the priest (which is ****ed up on way too many levels). If this is the case, why did it take years to surface? Are we expected to automatically believe that this kid now views differently?

This constitutes child abuse.

Yes, if in fact it actually happened, you are correct. This kid needs to be psychologically screened and a proper investigation must be conducted. Until then, we are only speculating.
