The bad news - Bird flu is now in humans, and stands a good chance to become an outbreak.

The good news - While bird flu is making toddlers sick in Egypt, it is not killing anybody. This is in stark contrast to the 1918 flu, which killed many.

Looks like the bird flu will be here, but also looks like it will not be the killer that everyone has been dreading. of course, it could mutate again, but right now, things don't look bad at all if it gets out of control.
