Thousands of Anti-Tax 'Tea Party' Protesters Turn Out in U.S. Cities

Unless of course if they use their freedom of speech to burn the American flag, then you are against them right?

If someone doesn't like it, but doesn't think it should be illegal, then that person is very much for free speech. Did anyone here say it should be illegal?

No, no, no.
I believe freedom of speech is valuable.
I think letting Libs speak is insightful for those who weren't socialists and find it unbelievable somebody could actually believe their clap trap... plus it's entertaining. I still get kicks listening to folks who should be calling themselves Komrades.

If burning flags is their thing, and it is... then let them show their love of country and patriotism that way... LOL... let their speech define who they are and who they support.

I encourage Libs to speak... open and often.

I wish Obama would have gone little further than "yes we can", "now is the time", "we are the ones we have been waiting for", Hope, Change and Unite.

He had so much opportunity and said so little.

He did provide enough to give us insight to the Reign of Error through remarks that he thought weren't recorded or through his wife, friends and mentors... but let's face it... he wasn't open, honest, forthcoming about who he is and was, who his radical friends were, and how he wanted to roll this country.

He had ample opportunity, but we got barely a taste of the sacred water... now we've been given fire hoses and told to open our yaps and enjoy the full force of his Eurosocialist hydrant.

You know, like when he spoke about "bitter clingers", or with Joe and "spread the wealth around", or "57 states" or "I'd never throw Jeremiah under the bus... he's family", or "Granny was a latent racist" or "no preconditions" or "let's make the military take care of their own insurance" and the like... it would have been nice for him to extrapolate just a little on his Grand Schemes to remake America... with a "K".

So much opportunity to speak freely about his grand schemes, and he chose not to and the AMMP (Lib Media) never pushed him.
I wonder why?

.

That is all i ever hear about, Obama's grand schemes on health care, the economy, education, foreign relations, etc... the list goes on and on. While i have been impressed in the way he has handled his presidency, most of his thoughts on the economy have left me shaking my head.

Obama seems to give a press conference every time he takes a ****.

Obama seems to give a press conference every time he takes a ****.

That seems to be his greatest strength. I'm noticing a disturbing pattern - he's adept at sidestepping sticky issues, instead simply giving press conferences on some claptrap "success" he's had, to distract folks from the what's really going on.

He fails. I wanted to support him as our elected leader, but I can't help but reluctantly agree with the sentiment that his lack of experience and overly ambitious agenda are going to cripple our country - the writing is on the wall.

Tea parties, indeed.

I think people expect Obama to give a Press Conference for any and every decision he makes. But then, ye know, they will bring up the teleprompter bull****... again.

Actually, it'd be nice to hear him make an actual decision, or take a definitive stance on an issue. So far, he keeps making campaign speeches, blaming Bush and touting sweeping programs of change, that are void of details.

But then, ye know, they will bring up the teleprompter bull****... again.

You're the only one whose brought it up here.

And what happens next, you ask?

I'm not sure what happens in the next step. But maybe by the end we will see helicopters blowing up TEA Party Taliban Terrorists? Anyone wanna start placing bets?
Homeland Security Warns of Rise in Right-Wing Extremism - First 100 Days of Presidency - Politics FOXNews.com
"Right-wing extremists have capitalized on the election of the first African American president, and are focusing their efforts to recruit new members, mobilize existing supporters and broaden their scope and appeal through propaganda, but they have not yet turned to attack planning," the assessment reads.

"The current economic and political climate has some similarities to the 1990s when right-wing extremism experienced a resurgence fueled largely by an economic recession, criticism about the outsourcing of jobs and the perceived threat to U.S. power and sovereignty by other foreign powers.," it continues.

The report also suggests that returning veterans are attractive recruits for right-wing groups looking for "combat skills and experience" so as to boost their "violent capabilities." It adds that new restrictions on gun ownership and the difficulty of veterans to reintegrate into their communities "could lead to the potential emergence of terrorist groups or lone wolf extremists capable of carrying out violent attacks."

All those crazy TEA party ex-military veterans training those growing cells oh my!

Protestors pwn CNN's Susan Roesgen.

Damn that was fun to watch.
I like how she regrets picking the man with the baby and quickly changes people. FOX vs CNN? More like FOX/CNN vs us.

"homosexual agenda" is generally used to refer to the minority movement, mostly among homosexuals, who seek to radically alter our social fabric by redefining the family, legalizing pedophilia, etc.
Right-wing talking points...nothing more...nothing less

Bush was open about who he was and what he wanted to do.

I thought one of his most gutsy responses, though he wouldn't see it that way, was his response to the the greatest philosopher in his life question... he said Jesus Christ... because he changed my heart/soul.

I'm not very religious, used to be fervently hostile to it, but believed this was a shining moment... because too many would have hedged the answer to please people who are hostile or borderline intolerant to religion.

He, as the press noted when he left, was a gracious, honest man.
I believe it is that more than anything that what won him the 2000 election.

He blew it on the spending side, he tried to get along... but he was so strong where we needed him to be strong. Protecting the nation and its citizens.

It was obvious his ability to take a political beating came from a conviction that poll numbers had no meaning when it came to national security, and we were lucky to have him at that moment. He took a beating, and he really didn't fight the press, ... instead he kept his chin up, eyes forward and never forget it wasn't about him... it was about America, our security and protecting the American way of life.

For that he's got my deepest respect and admiration... and thanks.

.

I think you and W have been "teabagging" a little too much.
