Ohio wants $57M in stimulus for highway studies
Ya gotta love the logic in Ohio:
Funny, I thought stimulus was to put LARGE numbers of people back to work. Besides, wasn't there supposed to be an abundance of "shovel-ready" projects? ("Shovel-ready" I presume is politicospeak for "planned")

"We're putting planners and engineers to work, too, so I think it does fit the spirit of the stimulus package to develop projects today that have opportunities for tomorrow," said Scott Varner, spokesman for the Ohio Department of Transportation.
