I am not saying you did, I am saying you nor any other christians will, correct?
That is not what you said...
"
Oh that's good news! So you'll stop citing the old testament everytime you want to deny gays their rights? Hey I'll take that! And the 10 commandments are obviously moot now as well, good ridance." -
Unrein
So you did say it was me directly, and obviously you were mistaken. I also see no mention of anyone else, so this is also not true.
Now as for your implying someone cannot use it. They can, but they better be willing to defend it.
Oh so the Nile river DID dry out? And the city of Dalmascus was destroyed?
He fulfilled the prophecy pertaining to the messiah. As for the rest, I don't know.
And where does he say the old laws no longer apply?
Common sense. The temple was destroyed, so the old law no longer applys even to Jews as far as that goes.
Jesus died on the cross to allow non-Jews to attain heaven as well. This is the new covenant written in his blood for all people.
Because revelations is all about spiritual visions. Unless you believe a dragon etc will soon be coming to end the earth?
B. How does that really make it any better?
You are kidding correct?
Yes it does, women in the NT were demanded to be 2nd class citizens, like Jesus is to the church a women is to her husband.
Holy misunderstanding Batman!
Jesus is the spiritual head of the church and we submit to his spiritual judgement.
"
Ephesians 2
20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God."
Sounds like the beginnings of a healthy marriage to me.
"
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord."
Again, sounds like a healthy spiritual marriage. Lets face it, if more men took the responsibility of being a husband and father seriously, this would not be any kind of an issue.
"
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body."
Normal sounding here. Please point out how being a good wife and following your husband is being a second class citizen?
"
24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing."
The church is subject to Christ spiritualy not physically.
The law was laid down as a guid to good living and spiritual full fillment, not govermental laws.
So not only does this still have absolutely nothing to do with my post, it shows basically you have little understanding of the information at hand.
No they are not treated as second class citizens as it is not laws for government, but salvation.
Do you agree with the NT on that?
While you were cherry picking for Bible quotes you left out the last part...
"
So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church (28-32)."
Yes I do.
