Laws should apply equally to all.
When government starts making law for special interest groups... this is what happens.
    A destructive precedent is set.

They have a case; if one gets special protections, why not the other?
It's absurd, but absurd gets what it deserves. More of the same from a quarter few are sympathetic to.

    How did we get here?
... Libs and their absurd ideas put into law.

And for you who live in the USA, UK, France, Russia or China it can be a relief to know that for any real action from the UN like sanction, you need a resolution from the security counsel. In that counsel, those countries have vetoing power.

    The "Clash of Civilizations."

And now, are people still confused about what the UN is? Grand appeasers of aggression and always prepared to sell out humanity to preserve "stability" and "peace."

Can we take a moment to laugh at this before the Global Left come on thread to applaud the UN......

Saudi Arabia said, "Maybe Islam is one of the most obvious victims of aggressions under the pretext of freedom of expression."
Saudi Arabia said this? Wahhabism anybody? The Shia and other sects of Islam in Saudi Arabia are prohibited from displaying their aspects of Islam publicly. They are prohibited from naming their children certain names because it brings attention to the non-Sunni Arab tribe. In schools, Shia children learn about their heretic religion along side Sunni children.

The Sauds have gone through great lengths to oppress and supress non-Sunni forms of Islam. But here they state that the West's "free expression" is aggressive towards Islam despite the fact that Islam is aggressive and prohibiting onto itself? The victims of Islam are victims because they are denied their freedom of expression by their own religion's prescribers (I believe Islam has developed over the centuries into a religion that demands more loyalty towards a specific tribe rather than to a faith).

But let's entertain the notion that Islam is the victim of free expression. This is false anyway. Christianity has been the butt of the joke in the media for centuries. Perhaps Christianity has just evolved into a religion that doesn't seek to riot over a cartoon or call for the immediate death of individuals who dare write a book against Christianity. Perhaps Christianity has gotten used to and accepted that it thrives in a civilization where religions compete healthily for souls and that it must share the environment with a seperation from state. And that it is this healthy seperation and competition that keeps it honest and without easy corruption as it used to. Perhaps Saudi Arabia should have commented on the immaturity of Islam instead of seeking for a way to declare it a victim of the West's free expressive culture.

Liberal .. conservative ... religious.. non religious ..... smart... dumb... one thing all Americans can agree on is that you can only have our freedom of speech after you pry it from our cold dead hands.... and you had damn well better make sure we are dead, because if not we're gonna make sure you are.

Laws restricting the free speech of our people have a life expectancy of about 5 minutes. This UN resolution is less than useless.

Ignorance is the refuge of faith
It's become very apparent that there is nothing respectable about faith
