As a carpenter I enter into people's homes to perform my work. While I could carry without the homeowner likely finding out, an anti-gun homeowner would very likely fire my outfit if they found out any of us were carrying.
While the homeowner may not have grounds to sue, they would take their business elsewhere, so my boss could say "you can carry in the shop, but not onto a client’s property".
I don't recommend doing electrical work while carrying either.
It's a shame guns have a negative stigma.
