None of which means much if you get murdered in the employee parking lot, for lack of the means to defend yourself.

I seem to recall the 1st Amendment right of freedom of religion has been seen by the Supreme Court to still exist in the workplace, as long as your religious expression is not disruptive to the workplace.

Like it or not, the 2nd Amendment is just as important as the 1st.

IMO my employer should be barred from forcing me to disarm while on his property, in his facilities, and on the clock performing my job, unless my concealed weapon interferes with the job (and yes, I can think of situations where it would).

They all ready have places for people like that. I believe it's called a "gun free zone".

School shooting - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

That has a list of shootings... pretty much every one happened in a gun free zone.

Tell me TNE, why don't we hear about shooting sprees in say.. Police HQ's? Many people there carry guns...

Please list the number of shootings that happened in places where people are allowed to carry to work in the past say... 30 years.

Maybe you are just one of those folks.
Maybe you're one of those people that ignores facts... like where are the most shooting sprees? Places people are not allowed to carry fire arms and thus become EASY PREY.

All rights are not created equal. They exist in a hierarchy. Clearly, the right to self defense is greater than private property rights.
If you want to go down that road, a criminal could then legally kill the owner of the persons house he is breaking into if the owner was trying to hurt him. After all, his right to protect himself trumps private property.

Did you drink a sixpack of "throw personal insults when I can't make a point" today, or is that just your normal mode of operation?

Not really. The home owner has the double trump, House and life, where as the criminal is being subjected to on he spot punishment for his stupidity.

    Utter nonsense.

Self-defense law requires that you be
    1. where you have a legal right to be
    2. doing what you have a legal right to be doing

...in order for it to be considered self-defense.

    Breaking and entering violates both.
