    Everyone funnels their anger differently.

I am sure the IDF see the war a little different then all of us.

i don't agree with the murder of children, but i understand the shirt's meaning.

Absolutely correct. Warzones tend to warp the mind and rape the soul.

It sucks for sure but it is a fact of life.

Offensive or not ... it's free speech. We cannot punish them for speaking their mind.

That would be governing in the same way the Arab theocracies do.

They may exist somewhere, but I've never seen any Israelis wear such gear.

This thread reminds me of the crap Joe Hill used to put up about US Marines.

Of course, new coup for you and Joe Hill have much in common.

True, but military personal are not afforded all the same rights as civilians. I am sure wearing a shirt like this while on a US army post (even off duty) will result in some major problems.

Now, off post off duty perhaps.

I'm not sure how anything here is less legitimate than the "quran in toilet" stories or things like that. The Israeli army admitted that these exist, and says that it will be taking steps to prevent this from happening again. I don't see what's wrong with that.

On the contrary, such a shirt would be perfectly legal here.

During the first gulf war, there were stickers that showed Saddam's head in the crosshairs of a scope which read "I would fly 5000 miles to smoke a camel."

These were very common on Nellis AFB at that time.

I can guarantee you that if US soldiers in Iraq were caught wearing shirts that said "kill and rape all ragheads," there would be hell to pay.

I know for a fact that any shirt like that would not be permited.

People may wear them, but it is not permited.

I can see the difference between the t-shirt targeting Saddam himself and a t-shirt targeting a pregnant muslim in general. There's a difference between saying that NCFY loves the cock and all liberal males love the cock. (No offense NCFY, just using it as an example). Legally, it might be OK, but in the court of public opinion, there's a big difference.
Welfare (Food Stamps, WIC, etc...) are not entitlements. They are taxpayer funded handouts and shouldn't be called entitlements at all. Social Security and Veteran's benefits are 'Entitlements' because the people receiving them are entitled to them. They were earned and paid for by the recipients.
