"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"
Cicero Marcus Tullius
Better to keep watch and see who he draws to him than arrest him and they go underground.
Sniper with 100 magnification on a tall building top two streets away from his house with a clear view of his front door. He arrives from work, silencer screwed on, trigger pressed. "Ping", bullet travels at 3000 feet per second, penetrating the back of his skull and lodging into his brain, causing ultimate death and brain shock which causes it to inflate with tumours to stop blood loss despite it causing the brain to give up and die. He falls to the floor, sniper back into the titanium cased holder with silencer unscrewed, and walk away like nothing ever happened. This is the same guy who led the protest against the British soldiers recently. I'm all for free speech just so long as it doesn't call upon others to commit acts of violence. I hope MI6 is watching this guy and his hangers on very carefully.
Thats how the KGB would have dealt it
