Either way, it still seemed, to me, that she used it as a cudgel to beat people over the head with (figuratively speaking, of course. It'd be horrible and hilarious if she really did that.)

    Stop being so politically correct.

Retarded –adjective 1. characterized by retardation: a retarded child.

Retard -verb 1. to make slow; delay the development or progress of (an action, process, etc.); hinder or impede.
So all I said is that her baby's mental state develops more slowly and with more impediments than a normal person. Are you disagreeing with me? Are you saying that Trig, with Down Syndrome, will develop mentally at the same rate as a normal child? Or did I just offend you on some deep level for using a medical term that's been established for decades, instead of using the touchy-feely "special needs" BS instead? And I thought liberals were the ones who were overly worried about everything being PC. It's not like I used it as an insult, as "anyone who gives their kids names like Track, Trig, and Tripp is a retard". It was in a consistant, medically exact, way. Grow up.

The Makeout Hobo is real, and does indeed travel around the country in his van and make out with ladies... If you meet the Makeout Hobo, it is customary to greet him with a shot of whiskey and a high five (if you are a dude) or passionate makeouts (if you are a lady).

The Leno interview was insulting. A slap in the face to folks who actually care about the answer to, "Just what in the hell are they thinking?" Obama appealed to tards and in tard like fashion the only thing they picked up on was the tard joke.
I find it insulting that some folks have a problem with Obama being on Leno. Hello latenight tv is part of our culture.

I don't currently give a crap about the dudes bowling scores, his basketball, etc. I want to know why he's feigning indignation on AIG and why he thinks it's wise to allow the fed to take such a historical gamble in our current situation. I want to know why he's comfortable and not afraid of inflation given the high risk of the feds action. I could give a crap about his bowling score and some retard jokes. The whole retard thing was a pun. Get it?
Yes it is keeping it real. He is showing that he is keeping in touch with the people and was trying to have some fun. Something that did backfire a bit for him but non the less he is a laid back Prez who seems to enjoy his job! What the hell is wrong with having a POTUS that enjoys having fun?

Hell Bill Clinton went on late night TV shows several times! Even played his sax on a few of em. Guess you had a problem with that too?

If you are watching Leno to get serious answers to serious questions? Well you have a real problem because that is not the time nor place for that kind of thing.

He was making fun of himself and I enjoy a person that can laugh at themselves-try it sometime.

You and your Obamatrons have ****ed way too much with this country already.

We're sore and sick from all the prodding.

Sounds like some bitter sour grapes to me

Very true! The majority of this country are not news junkies like a lot of us on this forum and during this difficult time people wish for a release and some laughs so going on Leno was a way to reach out to folks that wish to kick back, watch some tv, have some laughs and just chill.

Too bad he had to make the SO comment but he did the right thing and said he was sorry.

So, saying mentally challenged makes us seem more intelligent, and having possibly more unseen ability then we actually have.

You sure I didn't realize it. I don't like people who try to slur in a backhanded way.

You may be the one who places high value on perceived intelligence, it's called politically correct, and it's a diversion to take away from real issues of importance.

...same page ! Barry will continue to cash in on his so called "Rock Star" status, for as long as millions of really stupid people think," he`s the second comeing of some great president of a more abundunt time in America". Barry, on an almost daily basis, confirms my worst fears about his occupancy of the whitehouse.
