My x-wife and I had unprotected sex one night at her brothers wedding reception. She prayed to god not to get pregnant. We have a son.

In nearly 40 years of attending Catholic mass, I've never heard one whit of the "dogma" change, period, at all. You got evidence to the contrary? Be specific.

I learned a couple years ago from my experience with this very board that mouthfoaming only builds momentum and is magnified when you try to use logic to combat it.

In other words, it is a fools errand to try to get through to a bigot.

This ignorant stance is one of the main reason i have little/no respect for the Pope.
I think catholicism has no place in Africa; especially a stage like this where HIV and AIDs is so rampant, his out of touch approach does not help nothing.

That requirement was never rescinded.

Canon 1251
Abstinence from meat, or from some other food as determined by the Episcopal Conference, is to be observed on all Fridays, unless a solemnity should fall on a Friday. Abstinence and fasting are to be observed on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.
