Each of us experiences grief and mourning and loss differently.

I had no idea I'd be emotionally affected by her loss. I wasn't a fan of hers, particularly. All I know is that it helps me to share these feelings with others and to read the expressions of others.

Given your position on the banning of inanimate objects, knowing if you are serious or not is a mystery.

Every time I hear of any brain injury, fatal or not, I am saddened by it. Too much experience for me. This type of accident is all too common, and people need to realize that anytime they hit their head hard, they should seek medical attention, even if they "feel fine" right afterward.

The brain has no nerve endings, and an injury to the brain will not cause immediate pain. Pain only begins when the pressure is so great that it causes the skull to receive pain signals, creating a headache.

With every brain injury, immediate care is of vital importance to increase the chance of survival.

I'm really surprised that the NFL hasn't had any deaths or emergency brain surgeries. Remember that boxer that died after Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini knocked out?

The Helmets are really well-designed nowadays. What I'm really shocked at is that the UFC and other MMA don't have more deaths.
