*I'm not complaining about my "job." It's hard work, and I never get to (or want to) call in sick. My TV does not go on during the day (doesn't go on most nights either). I am a working parent the minute I wake up at 6 am and am usually still doing housework when everyone else is in bed. If I steal some time to myself to argue with an elitist snob on the web during the day, I earned that right. And I can afford the other things you wave around because my husband isn't a yuppy who takes time off every little hallmark holiday.
There's a difference between getting parenting tasks done and doing them well. I defy you to tell me my kid is brattier than the kids with moms and dads who work outside the home. One thing he is that your kids probably aren't, is tolerant of other lifestyles.
