Well, you made my point quite clearly, thank you. You don't believe that we are at war with Muslim fundamentalists radicals therefore you see our actions as ignoble....In order to reach this I have to conclude that you are a product of hours and hours of indoctrination from such sources as Keith Olberman of MSNBC defame, or Amy Goodman of Democracy Now defame. In either case talking points are little argument for the truth of the matter, and I just have little use for dupes or propaganda spreaders....sorry.

No, I just think that the War on Terror began as a farce considering that we went after Iraq when people still wanted justice for what happened on 9/11. Muslim fundamentalists are obviously a problem and now they are more than ever since the Iraq war. So I personally feel that we created a lot of these problems on our own. As for your conclusion you are incorrect. I detest MSNBC even more than Fox. I know who Amy Goodman is, but I've never actually heard her speak. I'm sure it's the same typical hardcore left wing garbage, though. And I have little use of people who draw major conclusions based on little information and stereotypes.

Yes, it is your opinion and I wanted you to clarify because it seems that you are being hypocritical by blaming this on someone other than Bush which you most likely wouldn't do that if the situation were flipped and it was Obama in the hot seat. You said that you blame Bush, but nowhere in your original post does it indicate that.

If Obama was pressured by Rush Limbaugh to release prisoners from gitmo and he caved into pressure to do so, I'd have the same opinion.

What evidence would the US have presented to do this? What if they were picked up during a fire fight? What evidence exists that they may have committed a crime in their own country or somewhere else if they were civilian terrorist combatants?

Here’s a clue; in the old days of uniformed combatants, they were held in prison camps. But that only works when one is a UNIFORMED combatant who is fighting for a recognized Government.

It is painfully obvious that you and millions of your fellow Liberals have no idea what is actually happening in the world and spew emotional bile like this in a vacuum of the facts or reality.

Not trying to put words in anyones mouth, sorry if you think so. But the fact remains that you are saying, and correct me if I am wrong here, but you are saying that we have imprisoned innocents in Gitmo right? and then I asked how you know that and you said that we can't because of the secrecy. So therefore your assumption of imprisoning innocents is really nothing more than speculation on your part, that's all.
