I don't think you can find a historical reference for a global war on terror and how to react to it.

What fear mongering would that be? I've yet to hear them tell us anything that is on par with using duct tape and plastic sheeting in case of chemical warfare.

Where should we have put the war captured?
You act as if we had absolutely no solutions before Gitmo when it has only been active since 2002. What was so wrong with what we were doing before that?

So I told you as soon as you asked. Why you are harping on nonsense is beyond me but not unexpected.

No, I said that I clarified that I was willing to be corrected in case you perceived what I said as a personal attack. And here we go with more baiting.

I corrected you. You started crying about baiting. Not my problem.

I addressed your views on the topic. If you don't like it simply ignore my posts already. Where did I indicate that my feelings are hurt? Are you just going to continue trying to bait me or are you going to answer my questions?

Your tone, your paranoia about being baited. No one is baiting here except for you. And I am laughing, and its not with you.

Note your lack of addressing the actual topic. Who is baiting?

It is in my opinion, and no offense. but when posters refuse to address the topic and instead pounds the poster relentlessly, I question thier intellectual prowess.... Do you really want me to think of you as intellectually wanting?

    Thanks!

Since you are being hyper-partisan, I am not surprised by your answer.

I am sorry you can't see the "we need to pass all this spending or we are doomed" fear mongering....

what were we doing before that again?

No, I know what the phrase meant. I was being sarcastic. I realize that its hard to denote sarcasm from text.

Well, you made my point quite clearly, thank you. You don't believe that we are at war with Muslim fundamentalists radicals therefore you see our actions as ignoble....In order to reach this I have to conclude that you are a product of hours and hours of indoctrination from such sources as Keith Olberman of MSNBC defame, or Amy Goodman of Democracy Now defame. In either case talking points are little argument for the truth of the matter, and I just have little use for dupes or propaganda spreaders....sorry.

No, I just think that the War on Terror began as a farce considering that we went after Iraq when people still wanted justice for what happened on 9/11. Muslim fundamentalists are obviously a problem and now they are more than ever since the Iraq war. So I personally feel that we created a lot of these problems on our own. As for your conclusion you are incorrect. I detest MSNBC even more than Fox. I know who Amy Goodman is, but I've never actually heard her speak. I'm sure it's the same typical hardcore left wing garbage, though. And I have little use of people who draw major conclusions based on little information and stereotypes.

Well, you are right, I shouldn't draw conclusion so quickly upon arriving here, my apologies. I came from another site where I am pretty well known, and habits got the better of me....I will observe more...
