Funny when Dems did this conservatives call them Obstructionists, but when Republicans do it, conservatives cheer.
My how the hypocrisy flows.
It takes a fascinating level of denial and ignorance of the record to make such absurd comments.
The Democrats never "obstructed" any legislation in the Bush administration; they voted in large numbers for just about every bill; it was true Bi-Partisanship.
The obstructionism came AFTER they voted FOR the War in Iraq and then were AGAINST the war as they attempted to impugn this administrations conduct of the war and brand it incompetent. They went so far as to declare Iraq a failure and even the surge strategy as having failed. How did that work out for the Democrats by the way?
I guess when you are clueless about actual events or wallow in willful denial those FACTS continue to elude you.
There's no hypocrisy in the minority party being against legislation AS proposed by the majority party when their ideas are shut out; we call this Democracy.
But what is even more fascinating is the level of whining we see from the Liberals these days when in all honesty, their pals the Democrats can pass all the legislation they want with ZERO Republican votes as witnessed in the recent bill passed.
So tell us Liberals, what's with all the whining? You won your huge majorities and when the chips are down and Obama's plans put the economy further into the crapper, you can all OWN it as well; or will you find a way to pin THAT on Bush as well?
Carry on.
