    Just a thought..........

I could see how you could come to that conclusion, however, Zimmer's historical musings on the issue paint a picture of clear and absolute ignorance of what Socialism and its degrees entail.

As I've stated before, Rathi and I both state that a functioning society requires some level of socialism to operate. Don't like Socialism, well, how did 1990s Somalia work?

Funny when Dems did this conservatives call them Obstructionists, but when Republicans do it, conservatives cheer.

    My how the hypocrisy flows.

Funny when the Republicans pushed big pieces of legislation against objection liberals called foul and said they weren't playing fair, but when Democrats do it, liberals cheer.

Of course, the point went right over your head. But then, it is rather hard to catch a clue when your blinders are pulled so tight over your eyes.

It takes a fascinating level of denial and ignorance of the record to make such absurd comments.

The Democrats never "obstructed" any legislation in the Bush administration; they voted in large numbers for just about every bill; it was true Bi-Partisanship.

The obstructionism came AFTER they voted FOR the War in Iraq and then were AGAINST the war as they attempted to impugn this administrations conduct of the war and brand it incompetent. They went so far as to declare Iraq a failure and even the surge strategy as having failed. How did that work out for the Democrats by the way?

I guess when you are clueless about actual events or wallow in willful denial those FACTS continue to elude you.

There's no hypocrisy in the minority party being against legislation AS proposed by the majority party when their ideas are shut out; we call this Democracy.

But what is even more fascinating is the level of whining we see from the Liberals these days when in all honesty, their pals the Democrats can pass all the legislation they want with ZERO Republican votes as witnessed in the recent bill passed.

So tell us Liberals, what's with all the whining? You won your huge majorities and when the chips are down and Obama's plans put the economy further into the crapper, you can all OWN it as well; or will you find a way to pin THAT on Bush as well?

    Carry on.

No whining here, unlike some pussy conservatives that labeled Dems obstructionists, I welcome the challenge from Republicans.

The whining came from those Republicans and conservatives that labeled any Dem who didn't agree with Bush's war or tactics as traitors, terrorist supporters, or un-patriotic. Those that labeled Dems this were the whiners.

I see you are still having great difficulty distinguishing impugning the troops and their mission when we are fighting wars and pork laden Government spending.

Carry on; your incessant whining has been noted. How fabulous when the shoe is now on the other foot; we call this hypocrisy. What that means is people who thought it was fine to impugn George Bush's management of the war now suddenly claim it is mean spirited when it is done to their guy.

So if Obama doesn't find Osama Bin Laden; will that mean he is an abject failure on the war on terror? You just cannot fabricate the level of denial it takes to be a Liberal or Democrat these days.

Please post what my whining is? Disagreeing with you?

Yes, we know anyone who disagrees with you is a whiner right? Carry on and will await your proof.

To prove hypocrisy, you would first have to prove me against Republicans doing this and agreeing with Dems doing this. will be waiting on this one as well, but won't be holding my breath.

Actually Bush was a failure on the war on terror, because he didn't put full forces in Afghanistan and instead went to Iraq.

Tell you what, if Obama decides to invade Mexico instead of Afghanistan I will fault him there as well. Happy?

Carry on your frothing at the mouth over Obama like a good little Conservative
