GOP: BAM COOKS THE BUDGET BOOKS - New York Post
Apart from the fact that the people at New York Post no longer deem it necessary to proof read their stories.
As per ex: (Republicans slammed President Obama for "cooking the books" in his new budget proposal, as the administration said this year's $1.75 trillion deficit was caused a by a crisis unlike any in generations.)
The addition of an 'a' after the word 'caused' might well betray the Italian origin of the writer.
With regard to a nickname for President Obama, BAM is IMO quite clever as this is likely what they will do to US incomes over next 4 certainly 8 possible years.
I assume that EVERY US Government and President 'cooks the books' according to how they view the economy should be presented to the country.
