Donors asked to pledge Gaza cash

IMO it is madness to promise any amount for the rebuilding of Gaza before some permanent form of a peace deal is signed and accepted by all sides.
My reasoning is that when (note: I do say when) Hamas fire rockets into Israel, Israel retaliates, at some point Israel may well decide another incursion into the territory of Gaza is required.
At that point it is almost certain that additional buildings will be damaged or destroyed.
This will need yet another infusion of money to rebuild.
And so the process continues.

No cash for terrorists.

My guess is these actions are designed to make it more difficult for Netanyahu to come in and clean house when the terrorists ramp up their rocket attacks.

It won't, but that's seems to be the scheme.
