Common sense isn't widely available in either parties camp.
I was discovering that life just simply isn't fair and bask in the unsung glory of knowing that each obstacle overcome along the way only adds to the satisfaction in the end. Nothing great, after all, was ever accomplished by anyone sulking in his or her misery.

However... on the grounds of common sense, I think Liberalism as a whole fails this. I mean, relying on the government to ensure success and freedom from failure? That's just a sure sign of lack of common sense...
I think conservatism as a whole fails. I mean - relying on ages old customs and traditions in the age of microbiology, embryonic stem cell research and nanotechnology? That is sure a sign that they lack the common sense to see that the future is the only way forward

See? I can dumb down a label too!

Liberals are good at dumbing down.

Climate, changes. It takes a particularly uneducated population to buy into the idea that it's their fault climate is changing and further political solutions can fix it.
