I never joined the NRA, cause they're just as much a problem as the treasonous congressmen and senators, and government officials who push for removing our rights afforded to us by our constitution.

I have however joined the JFPO, they don't give an inch and are very highly motivated to protect our rights as gun owners.

.22lr's kill more people per year than most other calibers... why? Because it's one of the most common calibers in the world.

Street sweepers are class 2 destructive devices.. so.. you can't just go to wally world and pick one up. Ak47s are just another autoloading rifle... what' the big deal with that?

The government has drawn first blood by issuing meaningless and unconstitutional infringements on basic ownership, so yes, we must keep an eye on them, and if someone has an opinion that guns which are constitutionally protected are illegal because some idiot in Washington thinks that a) they aren't protected because those in washington say so and b) there is some kind of need that has to be demonstrated, then logically the person who holds said opinion is an idiot with reading comprehension challenges.

So, gun ownership, or number of guns should be directly limited to how many I can carry on my person / employ on my person?

Gun owners have the right to be paranoid this is scary. I dont own an Assualt rifle (because they are an assload of money which I dont have in addition you cant get one legally in New York) but why shouldn't someone be allowed to?

I know, personally I've put a leash on my "assault rifles" in their safe.. cause they like to get out sometimes and play my xbox.

I would never support a ban on guns, but would make it difficult for some weapons to be sold. I am not anti gun, just against the fear and paranoia that grips so many.
Yes, occasionally some idiot member of congress proposes something extreme or stupid, and it never comes to fruition. There is no reason to be paranoid just because we are not allowed to own every new weapon that comes out.
I quit the NRA over the cop killer bullet issue. That was a long time ago. There is no reason for the public to have bullets that will penetrate bullet proof vests....

I think any reasonable person would deduce the same from your statements of "how many guns can you shoot... well I can only shoot 2.. and that's how many i Own".. That you're implying a limit on gun ownerships.
