One would be hard pressed to make this up?
Quote from article:-
(The vehicles owned by the Obama administration's auto team could reflect one reason why Detroit's Big Three automakers are in trouble: The list includes few new American cars.)

Remember folks 'CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN'?
Substance is a trifle more difficult. :rofl

Maybe they don't drive American cars because they aren't as good. And yes, I'm sure you are correct, the Obama administration not driving American cars is the reason Detroit is in trouble.

When you buy a car made in these plants, where do the profits go?

A international company either way. However no matter which cars are purchased American workers are still getting paid to make those cars.

Wait...did you really just blame GM's financial state on Barack Obama?

Sounds like "change we can believe in" to me. Progress does not often involve clinging to failing industries. I own a foreign car, as does anyone with common sense.

This is ridiculous. Capitalism's side effect is a world-wide spreading of wealth, as there are going to be investments in the cheapest.
