BART holdup victim grabs knife, kills robber

I have a confession to make. Last week, I got ripped off online making a purchase from a seller (scammer) from China.

Turns out, everything is ok now because I got a full refund.

But for a day or so there, I wanted Chinese blood. Any Chinese blood.

I'm gonna have to work on that. :3oops:

type this in google and dont press enter, and tell me what the last thing it suggests.

i am extremely

Missy I believe he was saying that he had some issues with Hispanics and he would have felt better is the issues were from someone of his own race.

Of course I could have misinterpreted it.;)

Well, that's the thought I had too so I asked him to clarify what he meant. It seems he'd rather bait than discuss. :(

Yeah, I'm sure that's it. Next time you post your partisan crap to a thread that has nothing to do with politics do this: Press delete.
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
I guess the humor went over your head.
Should have put in a smiley for the humor challenged.

that was exactly my first thought
:rock

You really have to wonder if the release of "Notorious" has given Biggie's spirit enough power to move from beyond the grave. I bet if you checked the dead kid's ipod, the last thing he listened to was something by 2pac.

Unfortunantly, when you have a knife at your throat, you don't have a helluva lotta time to hold court and determine if the crime is a capitol offense or not.

study long, study wrong.

Kudos to victim! To hell with the perp. Too bad for the dad but there is no one to blame but his kid and possibly the parents who raised him to be an armed robber. Wah-Wah-Wah....

Undoubtedly the victim should not be charged with anything; I would never suggest such a thing. I was referring to to where the article states that the second kid, Veliz, will be charged with the murder of Gonzalez, his posthumous accomplice, under the rationale that the blood of a person committing a felony should be on the hands of his nearby friends (or so I've gathered). So, specifically, they will be blaming, and charging, Veliz for the death of the perp.

At risk of breaking up the party and being labeled as a bleeding heart, ruthless-criminal sympathizer, I'm saying that I'm not sure Veliz should be charged with more than armed robbery without further comprehension of the circumstances. Did Veliz coerce Gonzalez into being an accomplice? That would change things, but then it doesn't seem there would be any reliable way of obtaining that information. I don't know, but I remain unconvinced.

The rationale behind the felony-murder rule is that if during the course of a felony, someone is killed, the other participants in the felony can be charged with murder. The purpose of it is to deter criminals from being reckless and to hold people responsible for the risks they take.

If four people are robbing a bank and one guy shoots the teller, all are guilty of murder. It also applies in cases where none of the parties intended to commit murder, such as when the bank robbers are fleeing the scene and hit someone with their car - 4 counts of murder.

The reason it applies (as it should) here is because the surviving kid decided to take an action that he knew could have resulted in the death of himself, the victim, or his accomplice. He took that risk, someone ended up dead, and he'll be convicted of murder for it.

The parents of both thugs should be arrested and charged for raising criminals....And the thought of even thinking of arresting the victim .. and this was done in the olden days.....yes, even today, it is a near crime for a man to defend himself.......this must end.....
Kudos to the victim for fighting back..

You come across more as a LIBERAL CENTRIST.

Well, if I told you what you come across as I would most likely get an infraction; so I will just say go back and reread your post and make sure you flush on the way out.:2wave:
