Presidential protesters made their voices heard in chants and signs Wednesday outside Dobson High School.

This might be a relatively small group, but they showed courage and principle in standing up against the current tide of political correctness. This is the side of America that the MSM would like to ignore and often refuses to report on. However, this is just the tip of the iceberg and such activities will become a growing trend as two things happen: (a) Formerly pro-Obama people wake up and realize that Obama is taking us in the wrong direction, and (b) Some of those who voted against Obama but thought he might not be so bad realize that his presidency could be more disastrous than previously anticipated!

Since when has it been courageous to show animosity against an American President?
Modernity shows that it takes more balls to be in favor of a President. Whenever one takes that Presidential Oath, they must realize that they will be hated by a majority of people. However, it is not the American President's job to be prey to the people's mal-content, it is their job to make decisions they deem fit. Conservatives and Liberals alike broke from Bush toward the end of his reign, as he begin a recession of his own-- he no longer deemed his agenda worthy, and began to play the lame duck; instead of creating a novel way of getting the country back on it's feet he set the prescendence, based on Keynesian economics, of "bail-out". Bush's biggest folly in the eyes of the majority of Americans is him giving up.

Well, that high school really changed my mind.

It's always been courageous, now more than ever as the Obama police state gets revved up.

This is the photo representing "hundreds protesting Obama's arrival". Somehow, I'm not impressed.

Are you kidding me? Loving Obama is the new cool thing to do.

If there was an Obama police state? :lamo

You are living in fairy tale land, man...

Maybe I'm an undercover Obama police officer.

So when people protested Bush and bash him, they were being disrespectful to the president and un-american. But when Obama gets bashed, it's courageous. Got it!

Gosh darn it, I just can't keep up with all these double standards and I so want to be part of the in-crowd here.....

What is not courageous about opposing a tyrant?

Take a pill dude. Obama sucks, but beyond wageing a great war on terror did GWB not deliver the "economy from hell" via his money whoreing conservative extremists? Yes he sure as hell did. Obama is lost in liberal ville, so, it is great to see frustrated people takeing it to the streets. Under a right wingnut congress,( correct me if I`m wrong,...4 years Clito admins congress was retardpublican and 4 years of Bushes presidency was a right wingnut retardpublican copngress. WHAT DID THEY DELIVER ? A broken economy at the hands of wealthy money whore republicans. Take that pill...if you get to tripin, you`ll be more real than your present thinking is. ;)

Why is Obama a tyrant? I can't wait to hear this.

In the video clip at the link, the right wing radio nutjob who sponsored this event calls it a "mock protest".

Double standard is what they call the republican party these days,...NO SERIOUSLY,IT`S TRUE. Oh and just a warning, don`t mention to them that the economic crash was compliments of the Bush administration. That makes them real defensive, and pizzed off. :2wave:

If you're going to bitch (rightfully so) about a double standard why not actually be equal across the boards. At one time it was told to us it was patriotic and the height of being american to oppose and protest against the president, but now its apparently something to make fun of, laugh at, say is an over reaction, or claim its not couragous and wrong to do.

What it comes down to is, for most people, their feelings about protesting and opposing a president is based off what letter's next to their name, not principles.

What's tyrranical? What rights have you lost?
Obama has stolen trillions of dollars from the American people to funnel to his friends, spies on Americans, has eroded their civil liberties, especially assaulted their right to bear arms, has continued to maintain the Bush state secrets abuse, and is in the process of setting up his own version of the S.A./S.S., building new FEMA camps, and expanding illegal wars against Afghanistan and Pakistan. This is all besides his record of supporting fascism and socialism in the U.S. Senate.

He is the duly elected President of this country.
Obama is a non-American who has defrauded the American people to declare himself "president."
Deal with it, weirdo.
Do you suffer from some form of digital coprolalia or something?

I've always been consistent in my positions of how I view my president. They have my full support and if I disagree with them, I will say so without being disrespectful- no matter what letter is next to their name. Maybe I am being a bitch to point it out to someone how they are being hypocrites, but I feel I am equal across the board. Can you show me where I am not being equal?

Sorry, few misunderstandings there I think...

First, wasn't saying you were being a bitch. I said Bitching...ie complaining...was what I was speaking about.

Second, I wasn't talking about your personal stance. You've been someone that generally keeps a very consistant view point. What I was saying though is that your post made it out as if Republicans are the only ones being hypocrites; going from saying that its disrespectful to protest the President to saying its couragous.

Which, I agree with you there.

What I was saying though, is if you're going to point out the hypocracy you may as well point it out both ways. Because previously, Democrats were saying it was patriotic and something to be commended if someone protested or opposed the president...yet now many of them are saying people are being nit picky, disrespectful, childish, or simply making fun of them. They TOO are being hypocrites.

Not all republicans are doing it, not all democrats, but a sizable portion of both seem to be holding rather hypocritical views in regards to protesting the president that leads me to believe they base their views less on principles and more on whether its an R or D next to the guys name.

Not saying you're one of those, was just saying if you're going to point out the republican hypocracy you may as well point out the democrats as well.
