It's pretty obvious to me that this is a product of the "Abortion is murder" campaign. That has to be where the cop got the notion it was a threat.

I find it interesting that anybody in the right wing, well known for it's hysterics as far sentences like 'KILLING THE UNBORN!' and 'KILLING THE INNOCENT' go, would be so surprised at what is clearly a product of their own catch phrases.

Go to the abortion forum and you'll likely find hundreds of posts like this :

Killing the unborn is wrong.

So what are people supposed to take it as when somebody who is clearly a right winger says 'Abort Obama and not the unborn'?

Is he talking about killing Obama and not the unborn?

That to me would be one of the very clear options. Right wingers love to associate abortion to murder. So now that it's backfiring it seems like some can't take the consequences of their P.R. campaigns.

And considering this was Oklahoma which has like 1 black person for every 9 white guys. I seriously doubt that. Just an educated guess though.

It would make it a hate crime. The reason I ask is that I've noticed that blacks disproportionately get all emotional over this Obama thing, and this was obviously an emotional, illogical response by the cop.

Being stopped because you carried a sign saying 'Abort Obama, not the Unborn' even though pro-lifers CONSTANTLY forgo saying abortion and instead use 'Killing' is about as far from racial profiling as you can get.

If McCain was President and the guy with the sign was black, there's no doubt in my mind that the race of the police officer, if white, would have been reported.

This is quite possibly one of the top ten most ridiculous statements I've ever read on this forum.

I'm not sure how it is you manage to make such amazing leaps to such ludicrous conclusions in such a powerful vacuum...but whatever you're taking I want some.

Anyway, do you even know what a hate crime is?

I never said it wasn't relevant. I asked how his question was relevant. Prove this was a case of racial profiling before you run out into traffic like that.
