Bank nationalisation gains ground with Republicans

All republican conservatives out there, chant:

"You vote for nationalization, we will vote democrat!"

If the republicans dare to nationalize the banks, they deserve every bad thing that comes to them. I would PROUDLY vote democrat just to punish the republicans for this. I hope Lindsey Graham gets voted out and the GOP lose every single seat in the House in 2010.

If they vote for nationalization, I will vote democrat! And no, I will have ZERO guilt about it.

Very soon, the term "National Bank" may mean more than just a name. So, how did we get here? Deregulation of the financial markets, with some unadulterated greed thrown in - Just the ingredients for the end of Capitalism as we know it, and the imposition of Socialism.

Years from now, with the Socialist state as our big brother, our kids and grand kids will ask "How did this ever happen?". The answer will be "It didn't happen because we were beaten by an enemy, manipulated by foreign nations, or even out finessed by an ideology other than Capitalism. We lost our economic system because those who would be the watchdogs over it turned their backs on America and let it happen".

Obama's stimulus package is an attempt to revive the Capitalist money machine (needs circulation in order to work)

Actually it is because those trying to be the watchdogs were ignored and laughed at.

So govt spending over 3/4 of a trillion dollars is capitalism?

Hint: It involves Ron Paul and Libertarianism.

And conservatism.

It involves people like Goldwater. Or Rothbard. Or Hayek.

What it doesn't involve is pimply faced fresh out of college kids that have an ego twice the size of their presumed intellect. :2wave:

You still didn't expand.

And what's wrong with college kids?
Do you understand the age when pimples quit being much of an issue?
How do you know the presumed intellect of someone?

He's mad because he feels that other people make sweeping generalizations about his ideology, so he takes the higher road by making sweeping generalizations about the people making said sweeping generalizations.

There is little reason to expand on this anymore....it is long past the point of turning back anyway.

Right now the keyenesians have an insurmountable advantage. They are in a position to produce the government stats, then point to them to show how right they are.

One example of this is how they managed to produce such a robust economy in the middle of WW2. Even with a huge chunk of our workforce fighting overseas, GDP skyrocketed.

Of course when our brave soldiers came home and everyone was working again, GDP went way, way down. We should all be well aware of the major depression that happened in 1946. You've all heard about the depression of 1946, right? We were so worried about this depression that it generated a boom in population and a feeling of jubilation rarely seen since.

But don't dare question the government numbers. It was a severe depression. GDP says so! War is good for the economy! Deficit spending is good too!

Obama will pull us out of this, and if he doesn't, the brilliance of some other central planner will find a way. I hear Michael Bloomberg is a real smart planner. Anybody that disagrees with these types are simply insane! They are just a bunch of Paultards really.

I dont understand this logic, why would you vote for the nationalization party over the quasi-nationalization party? Why dont you just vote third party?

Bold: Because there was a true call to bust ass.

Of course the GDP will go up whenever we are engaged in war. Somebody makes money off of the weaponry we drop on the baddies.

Because by voting for the quasi-national party, you reward them for going left. We only need one nationalization party, and I would rather the nationalization party hold all the power untill the quasi-party understands that they will NEVER win by moving left.
