Burris acknowledges efforts to raise money for Blagojevich

Minor correction, Lisa Madigan is a Democrat.

Oops, my bad. It is a Republican prosecutor though. The perjury case was referred to Sangamon County prosecutor John Schmidt, who is a Republican.

Yes, I believe you are correct, so was your original claim of bi-partisanship. As a matter of fact, living in Chicago, I've yet to meet somebody who isn't pissed that the man was allowed into office. The man is not popular with anybody but a VERY select group of people on the southside, and trust me, that ain't too hard to do. Talk about a ****hole.

So, if indeed we do hold a special election who are some viable candidates? Any suggestions? Let's hear it, my fellow Illinoisians.

I'd suggest Lisa Madigan. The conflict of interest would maintain Illinois tradition.

Better yet, let's located surviving members of the Daley family, and make Illinois government a family affair.

I was listening to NPR on the way home from work and they had a clip of Burris assuring people that nothing improper had taken place.

That's when I started yelling at the radio, got pissed off at the guy in front of me who had the nerve to maintain the actual speed limit, felt my blood pressure rising......

........had to turn off NPR and listen to some classic rock.

I hope they give Burris the boot soon. The guy is a train wreck (and promotes road rage).
