    I am surprised that Gree has not posted here yet. Gree is an Infantry officer currently srving in Iraq. According to him we were actually losing that war to when they adopted new strategies that turned every thing around.

    I seem to remember in one Hamas thread they were planning to try these same new strategies in Afghanistan. So maybe all is not lost. The only reason we went into Afghanistan was because of Bin Laden. The Taliban refused to hand him over.

    If it were not for Bin Laden the Taliban would still be in power today.
