Of course, like most of the story itself, this is a patently false assertion. The events in Afghanistan had NOTHING to do with Iraq. It has EVERYTHING to do with the failure of our allies, the UN and NATO to get the job done.
Once more it will take the American military to get the job done.

This is much of the typical Soviet Communist interventionism that went on throughout the Middle East for decades and is so conveniently ignored by Liberals who prefer to blame America first and foremost for all the problems associated with the region.
But in order to have such views, one must willfully suspend disbelief and wallow in historical ignorance.
