It's February, and the National Weather Service is treating tornado season conditions as if it were May. At least 4 tornadoes have torn across Oklahoma and Texas, but the twister in central Oklahoma was the worst, half a mile wide. This one destroyed everything in its path, and at this time, there are 15 dead. They will continue to look for survivors today. This storm system is heading east, and will be spawning more twisters today.

Scarey! Climatologists are saying because of our warming trends our severe storms are going to be more frequent and more severe!

Yeah we got slammed by that storm last night.

Beautiful day today though. 70 and not a cloud in the sky.

You are north of me, so you got it a lot worse than we did. High straight line winds here for about 15 minutes, and then it was over. Could have used more rain, though. We are still in a drought.

Mid 70's today in Houston.

I don`t doubt that significant climatic change will result in significant changes in climatic conditions. What I strongly disagree with is the conclusion on the cause. Geologic and other pertinent sientific evidence suggests this is the normal eb-and-flow of the earths atmospheric patterns. Green house gas bots are FOS. In the very, very romote posibility that I`m wrong about the,"green house gasses cause", I`d still suggest, even that is a geological phenom associated with the radical increase in volcanic activity ,globaly, this century. Anyone checked lately...? The numbers ( green house gasses), are in the same old range they`ve been in for a long ,long time. Great tornado numbers so far this year, but still one to many for anyone hit by one.
