Is it terrible that I don't feel bothered by the fact that she has received death threats? :3oops:

Did anyone watch the interview? She was so smug and/or dismissive about any criticism. She had NO shame in lying about not receiving any government assistance when she had. I thought the interview made her that much more unlikable.

If The Learning Channel doesn't do a reality show about this family, those kids are sure to be taken away from her. She cannot support 1 child, let alone 14 of them.

I don't think they will. Most of those types they do have on there are more 'family friendly' kind. A crazy bitch with no husband or means to support herself doesn't exactly fit that type to me.

It seems to me that everyone here is missing the bigger picture.

she had 6 embryos implanted for each of her pregnancies. in this case, two of the embryos split, resulting in octuplets. twin pregnancies are considered high risk, let alone higher order multiple pregnancies. premature birth is a near certainty, and risks include disorders of virtually every bodily system.

she and her doctor deliberately put herself and her children at risk.

it seems sick to me that people are more concerned with whether or not a financially insecure woman has the right to bear children, than they are with the health of the children they do have.

What the f@$% do we expect given we just elected Obama and handed Congress to the Democrats? Do you believe that these voters are asking themselves why the public should be paying for these services after they just spent an entire presidential campaign promising to pay for such welfare and health services?

Seriously, screw your head back on. This is the direction we're going in...and the American voter seems abasolutely content with it.

That's just fantastic. So, in addition to the $1.5 - $3 million that the public will be paying for these kids to be born, we're also on the hook for food stamps and SSI for the original three. And given that half of the first six were disabled, what do you think the odds are that a bunch of the next eight are as well?

At this point, I truly am praying that she gets corporate sponsorships, because the rest of us should not be paying for this ****.

I completely agree. She got about 2% of what that other welfare mother, who was the CEO of Countrywide Mortgage, got. Shame on her. Shame on him too.

The fertility doctor who was so irresponsible as to implant these into her should be paying ALL of these bills. The taxpayer shouldn't have to foot one red cent for any of this.
