Your post above simply pats yourself on the back for predicting something and, again, slamming the US relative to Europe.

I have to wonder, though, why do you project that the US unemployment rate will pass EU27 or Eurozone next month?

Eurostat shows the EU27 at 7.4% as of 01/2009 up from 6.8% in 01/2009. The EU15 was pegged at 8.0% as of 01/2009 up from 7.2% in 01/2009. And nothing they are reporting suggests that those rates will be falling and economic conditions appear to be worsening.

Hence, given that there is no reason to conclude that the US rate will exceed the EU27 or EU15, well, it seems you're just, again, slamming the US as opposed to taking a legitimate look at unemployment rates, the unemployment situation within the EU, or anything else.

It doesnt matter why.. There were many reasons.. Then again.. I was right.. Like I was in this whole thread about unemployment.. But then again, ofcourse you people with your pro-US goggles, never could see reality..

    http://epp.eurostat.ec.europa.eu/cac...2009-AP-EN.PDF

This documents show EU average, all the countries in the EU, plus Norway, Japan and the US unemployment rates. Newest numbers..

    EU27(including east Europe, FYI) = 9.1%
    Eurozone 16 = 9.6%
    US 9.7%

And its worth mentioning that European rates have increased only moderately, while US rates dramatically.. Something I also predicted and you guys all refuted..

I hate bringing up old threads and prove I am wrong.. It takes a long time.. but then again, is important..

JMak and Goobieman are right; you're actually STILL trolling, which is especially confirmed by your new sig:

No, I am not back. I am just here to teeze all the people who wear pro-US goggles and then have "perspectives" on things.

Welcome back Max. Back from your "adventure"?

Its just too bad for MaxZ the US hasn't collapsed into oblivion like he has prophesied so many times. Watch him contort as he tries to redefine the definition of "collapse" or increase the vagueness of his ever increasing time frame of the US' economic implosion. Or, perhaps in MaxZ's world the US has collapsed but its just the biased media lying to everyone that it hasn't. Its a civil war over here you just don't know it!.

For all those unfamiliar with MaxZ you should introduce yourself with his anti-American doom-sayer attitude. Then make up your mind for yourself whether his opinion on just about anything regarding politics and economics have merit.

Wow, this is very concerning for the US. Horrible numbers. US unemployment is now higher than EU-27 and passing the Eurozone next month. Considering European unemployment has been hovering about 7% for quite awhile, and US unemployment was only 4% a year ago, the numbers are dramatic.

I actually predicted this to happen several years ago, but then people called me dumb and what not. If you do not believe me, check out my first posts on this forum and my warnings about a worse economy for the US and the UK the coming years, but a relative stable European economy.

    Thanks for the grand welcome..

The US is in collapse. Collapse comes in many stages and many acts. Its really dreadful to see it all happening so fast.

Well, total collapse is something a European would know all about.

And if the US economy takes a another big dip, you'll be eating residue off the bottom of your shoes.

Your country is 100 percent entirely dependent on the US. Hence, your bitterness.

By the way, you're welcome for that whole World War I and World War II thing. I'm sure we'll have to bail your weak ass out again, too.

Don't sweat it! I'll surely wait
It is not very unreasonable that the rich should contribute to the public expense, not only in proportion to their revenue, but something more than in that proportion.
