US seeks to rework foreign ties

BBC NEWS | Americas | US seeks to rework foreign ties
The new US administration is determined to strike a new tone in its relations around the world, Vice-President Joe Biden has told a major security forum.

It also wants to press the "reset button" in ties with Russia after a "dangerous drift" in recent years, and was open to talks with Iran, he said.
Now that's the true soul of America coming back after years of oppression by Bush!

Iran was already laughing at the US, and Russia was barely talking to the US. As for the EU and the "buy American" stuff.. was not Obama and the Eu knows that.. it was congress.

Are you kidding? Obama's been pushing that bill since before he was inaugurated. He's the very public face of it.
