    Jfuh,

I've been to China on a few occasions. While many of the major news sites i.e., CNN and The New York Times, are accessible, those that have a lot of user-generated content i.e., sites hosted by GoDaddy or Geocities are not always accessible. Things are continuing to change, so that situation may also change in the future.

Speaking of change: One of Beijing's hutongs. Beijing's hutongs are continuing to disappear as the city replaces them with modern commercial and residential districts.

Point is not ALWAYS accessable. Often times due to the rediculousness of servers in China just aren't decent enough to handle the capacity. Other times its because of censorship.
The argument I've made toward tasha is the painting of one large brush stroke just on what she herself personally has seen from her perspective. Both narrowminded and conceited to think that yes of course they'd all be posting on these boards.

    That is a HUGE shame.

If not, then YOU are the censor. Yeah it says a lot, seems you're the one who's preventing one of the core beliefs of this site "free speech".

Yes, the quality at Debate Politics is not what it could be , in other words, a waste of time..
And, remember, "bad habits die hard"..
Just give the Chinese more time, a lot more time.
Our trade with them will accelerate the process..

Did you ever wonder why ?

Just FYI DP is available in China. You can use this website to test any domain you'd like.

What can we learn from China? How to arrest peaceful people and put them in jail because of what they believe in? Can we learn how to invade neighboring countries and incorporating them into ours at the point of a gun? Can we learn from them how to threaten other neighboring countries to join them, or else? Can we learn from them how to support some of the most despicable states in the world including DPRK, Burma, Sudan, and Zimbabwe - among many others.

If you are referring to CULTURE, no argument. But their internal politics and international relations is NOT something ANYONE should strive to emulate.
