I'm sorry, but on a SINGULAR instance and then stating that oh yeah, the censorship.
You've been to China then? Perhaps perhaps not, have you tried to access DP while in China? I have without even the slightest hitch.
Maybe I should make a post or two next time just to prove while you check the IP logs.

If you're going to be posting rubbish that stems only from a singular instance of "there are no one in china that posts here" and conclude from such that it's because of censorship, don't be so surprised as to be called ignorant.

Calling a person ignorant is not an attack, you don't know you don't know - it doesn't change what I've said as being true.
the OP has quite a long history of posting words for the sake of resonnance to those who are ignorant - now if you want to test it, go ahead, journey to China and test for yourself.
Otherwise yes I will be calling you ignorant.

I know the IPs of every DP member.

I can't think of even one who regularly posts from mainland China.

Very strange for such an "open country" with a billion people.

    2. with all the vial hatred of I'm not surprised that people in China wouldn't bother posting here. Should anyone there post any dissenting opinion to that of the board, they'll get a barage of nasties from the board as well as a slur of racist slandar against that go completely "un-noticed"
    3. Yes, because we all know just how keen Chinese are to post on the world wide popular debate politics right?

So no, that alone doesn't say squat other than plain simple ignorance.

For the record, this site is not in anyway shape or form "censored" in china as you all here so self-righteously assume.
But that won't stop the assumptions and further self endowment of superiority.
Posting or not posting on this site doesn't mean squat.

But interesting choice of word you use "I can't think of even one who regularly posts from mainland China."
Seems to suggest that there are, they just don't post often, which would lean more weight to my argument 3.

BTW, I never argued that China was an open society, so don't put words in my mouth.

    Perhaps...

Before I came to DP I was one of the Owners of the largest chatroom at MSN which was also international. 5,000-10,000 room visitors per day every day.

Once again, I can't recall even one visitor from China.

    Which means what?

Hey, I don't see any posters from Lithuania here, I don't see any posters from the netherlands here I don't see any from iceland, sweeden, switzerland, romania, spain, italy - yeah that must mean something must mean their nations censor.
Your pool is simply too small.
Arguments 1, 2 and 3 (substitute dp with your MSN chatroom).

I've never posted in your chatroom or at very least I know I've never posted in an MSN chatroom before. OMG yes, that MUST mean something, yes I must be censored. Seriously no one is that conceited.

Actually, there are posting members here at DP from each of the various nations you mentioned above.

    Look at this:
Debate Politics Forums - View All Members

See the blips on mainland China? Those are all spam-bot accounts that I haven't gotten around to banning yet. There is no member posting here from mainland China. As was evident during the Summer Olympic Games, many Chinese can speak at least a rudamentary English.

Dismiss it all you want, but there is little doubt that the government of China monitors, filters, and blocks Internet access.

Internet censorship in the People's Republic of China is conducted under a wide variety of laws and administrative regulations. In accordance with these laws, more than sixty Internet regulations have been made by the People's Republic of China (PRC) government, and censorship systems are vigorously implemented by provincial branches of state-owned ISPs, business companies, and organizations.[1][2]

The apparatus of the PRC's Internet repression is considered more extensive and more advanced than in any other country in the world. The regime not only blocks website content but also monitors the internet access of individuals. Amnesty International notes that China “has the largest recorded number of imprisoned journalists and cyber-dissidents in the world.”

Wait and you would know this how?
Maybe because they posted on this site?
Which seems to lean more to my argument even more.

    Who's denied such?
However that's not what you said.
There are what - 1 billion citizens of China?

How many are permitted to post here at Debate Politics?

That alone should tell you something
How can they both be posting during last summer yet then not permitted to post?

Of course you are right, no one in china speaks english and if any of the billion did, they would not happen on DP by chance....

Defense #2 for the jack boots in the chinese government.

Once again Jfuh accuses people of racism for daring to critisize the jack boots in the chinese government.

    3. Yes, because we all know just how keen Chinese are to post on the world wide popular debate politics right?
I have known a couple. Why wouldn't a few exist. Stop making excuses for the jack boots in the chinese government by bashing chinese people.

Aren't you of chinese decent. And look YOU post here. FAIL.

Prove it is not censored by the Chinese government.
