Grandma: Octuplets mom obsessed with having kids

Octuplets mom gets TV, book offers - Parenting & Family - MSNBC.com

This is good news. Then she hopefully wont' be needing any tax dollars for assistance.

I wonder what the title of her book will be? "How to be a mooch by having children","Where to find unethical in vitro fertilization doctors, so you can pop out more kids and further mooch off the system?" I know good one she can write for the fiction section, "How to take care of 14 plus kids on your own without a job and husband".

It might be her right to reproduce, but at least doctors are supposed to have ethical standards and any doc who implanted 8 embryos (at least - remember, they thought there were only 7) isn't meeting standards. Implanting in a single mother with SIX children isn't ethical either - so while I believe she's unstable, she's got to share the blame with her fertility doc.

No one can look after 14 kids - it takes a staff to do that, and Mom, Grandma and Grandad aren't going to cut it. Unless she scores big time on book/tv deals (and sponsors are staying away in droves because of the negative PR around this) there's no way to care for those kids, and they will end up in care on the gov dime.
